Neat, clean park with good sized spaces. This is our 3rd visit and with the drought, it was evident that a lot of grass watering had been put on hold. Laundry, small store, pool was all very clean and neat and the staff was very nice. A few more long termers than before but only 1 "junker" which dropped their rating a little from last visit. Might just be a sign of the times.

Very clean, well run park. Stayed 3 nights and wish we had more time. Pool and spa area cleanest we've seen, and with all the tress around them, I don't know how they do it. Very nice dog turnouts. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We have put this on our list of must returns!

Very nice RV resort right on Lake Livingston, with a marina. A new facility that is very well planned and laid out. One area of sites still not finished and it can be seen how much careful thought has been put into the layout. The restaurant is excellent with beautiful sunset views. Staff helpful and very pleasant. We had only planned on a quick overnight stay but stayed another day and wish we could have stayed a month. Next visit will be much longer!

Pass Port America $ rate. Owners very helpful and have very nicely updated this used to be KOA. Petting zoo, nice playgrounds for kids, spotless toilets and showers (even includes bath mats!) Nice store, arcade, laundry and pet areas. Pool was being redone and was ready the day we left! We stayed three nights and will be back on our way back thru this fall.

We stayed here as an overnite a year ago and vowed to return. Very nice park with 3 distinct types of campsites available. Has very nice trails, small but informative nature center, climbing rock and small amusement park in spring, summer and early fall, and convenience store. Restrooms very clean.

A great stop on US 70 as previous reviewer said. It is clean and neat. First 2 nights free and 3rd - 5th nights $5.00. 5 night limit. Almost all the restaurants in town closed on Mondays, For your information. Dump available and a propane dealer 2 doors away!

One of our favorite parks. Spotless with great people both running it and staying there (1/2 park snowbirds or full time) Travelers always made to feel welcome.

Visit actually in October, 2008 but auto fill won't accept that. Best surprise overnite stop we ever made! Stayed 6 days but will be back for longer stay in spring. One of the best organized and run RV parks we've ever been in, private or public. Immaculate grounds, level sites, beautiful sunsets, great spa and great personnel make this one of our top stays.

Spotless restrooms and laundry. All gravel and some drought tolerant trees but the city of Gallup wisely wants only hardscaping to conserve their limited water supply but this park done a very good job of making it attractive and very pleasant. Some of the most convenient hookups we've had, with 2 units sharing one set of utilities so easy for two units traveling together to open awnings into each other. This was just an overnight stay, but we will return and use this as our base to explore the area.

What a difference new owners make! Was through here 3 years ago and refused to stay for the junkie trailers, dead trees and and poor condition. I Don't know how KOA ever let remain a franchise. But the new owners have about rebuilt totally one shower/restroom and gutted and redone the other. Now they are spotless. Trees have been replanted and junk is gone. For such close proximity to freeway it was very quiet. The folks that took over are personable, helpful and, rightfully so, take pride in the revitalization of this park. We will definitely stay here again.

I would have rated higher but the bathroom/showers really need to be updated. A very pretty park that is surrounded by prairie that just comes up on you. There is lots to do and it is very neat. Sites were gravel but there are actually 3 campgrounds, we were in Rosebud. We are looking forward to returning for a much longer stay.

Mostly pull thrus and pretty level gravel sites. Close to Interstate so a little road noise. Back behind a Motel 6 and an RV dealership. Has a shopping center and very good restaurant within walking distance. Great place for a RV rally (which we were a part of). Restroom/ shower combos very clean. Staff very nice and helpful. Would stay here again.

Campsites mostly level but no consistency to elec and water hookups as to sides of rig. Only needed 6 ' of electric but 2 hose sections. Some sites had both on same side. Only complaint though. Other than that it's gorgeous with helpful staff, a cool little water park (closed Sept-May). Diamond hunting is $6.50 daily and lot of fun. Tools can be rented. Looking forward to returning.

3rd stay and Ameristar is putting a lot of money into the park. The staff is helpful, humorous and very pleasant. Has shuttle over to the casino, with great food in several locations. Sites are level, hookups convenient and the entire park is spotless. Will definitely stay here again.

In reviewing past comments, I can see some confusion. Some sites have little shade or trees, and the satellite folks love those!!! I like shade and got it. The park was spotless, including pool, showers, restrooms, laundry and rec room. There was a very nice, clean enclosed dog run area and modern play ground area for kids. I look forward to staying here again.

My favorite park, not a resort nor is it trying to be. A spotless, well groomed park with dune views for some but somewhat breezy to wind blocked lower area still having dune access. No ATVs allowed to drive in park. Great riding stables within walking distance.

Name is now Pacific Dunes Ranch RV and the Resort is off the name. Should make some happy. The park is still neat, clean, friendly and a great place to stay. Rest rooms/showers spotless, small fairly well stocked store, video arcade for kids and community room for clubs. Very good riding stables for beach rides within walking distance. We'll definitely be back!

Not a destination resort but a very clean and quiet stop over for a couple of days. Pool is clean, restrooms recently up graded, almost all the sites are well shaded and level,(gravel), with lots of green grass. They are upgrading this park slowly and doing each step very well. This is our 3rd stay and we will return.

We stayed in 'behind the gate' part of park that is only open Memorial Day to Labor Day. There are two ponds and Bass, Blue Gill and Catfish in both. Each one of the campsites can easily accomodate 2-4 rigs. Fire rings and picnic tables at each site. Can't rate this park any higher as the roads are dirt and gravel. Sites are level and all have a beautiful view. Not fancy mega resort, just a great place to back to, time after time. One of our 2 favorites!

This is our favorite RV CampGround! Everybody there is there to make sure you have an enjoyable stay! In this 5 day stay, we were there for Luau Days and enjoyed a very nice BBQd shish ka bob, ice cream social, pool party. Though geared more for the kids, it was fun for the adults also. The new wi fi is very good and this 'nitpicking' complaint is bogus. If you don't need a shower or wifi, it is not included in the price. There is a wide variety of campers there: tent, cabin, tent trailer, truck campers and million dollar diesel pushers. Some may use the shower, some may not and same with wifi. If you don't use, why should you pay for it??

This a great I-5 stopover. Area around the park is building up with restaurants and stores within walking distance. Trees are getting a little bigger and the park is neat and tidy. Office/club house has TV and coffee and a kitchen for clubs. No pool yet but it is in the plans on next expansion. Fully fenced with one entrance/exit. This is my third stay and there will be more.

This is a well run county/municipal run park and with that understanding : it is not up to private park standards only because the cannot turn away some of the riff-raff day users and camping-in-my car overnighters. It really is too bad as it is a great facility and could/should be a real money maker for the county as is Lake Cahuilla in Riverside Co. We enjoyed our stay, loved the trains, fishing, huge sites, etc but one prowler dropped them to a 6.

Level sites with tables and fire pits. The County has done a very good job of maintaining both the campground and the ghost town above it by not letting it get tacky. All the employees were helpful and full of interesting information. We only stayed one night but will definitely be back for a longer stay. There is a lot to do and see in the town and the surrounding area.

We traveled with another travel trailer and both of us were treated as well as we have been treated anywhere!Spaces were large, grassy with nice picnic tables and long, level concrete pads.Lake and landscaping are beautiful. Food in the casino was good to excellent as we stayed 3 nights and the casino is fun and not too serious like Vegas.Restrooms and showers were spotless. We're looking forward to a quick return!

Plan ahead as the hook-up sites are limited. That's the only bad thing about a beautiful park. The trees mentioned in an earlier review are being thinned out. The Nature Museum is great and very kid friendly. Nice and clean and well maintained.

The only thing that kept Harris Creek Campground from a 10 was the uneven pads and upgrades badly needed in rest rooms and showers (though they were very clean). Beautiful setting above the lake with paths down to the water. Most sites well shaded and you need it in summer. This a for sure come back campground!

Park is getting a little long in the tooth though very clean and neat with terrific personnel. Some sites very small, only 1 pull thru. This park is cut into the side of a hill and few trees were removed so roads tight. Some semi perm residents trailers getting very junky looking and should be removed to bring park up in ratings.

Very long gravel pull thru sites with picnic tables and hookups conveniently located. This is indeed a work in progress and the design is very well thought out leaving many trees and beautiful views. As previously stated, it's a great, convenient overnight stop with very good access to freeway but also very quiet. The potential here for a longer stay is great once more amenities are completed. I'll definitely be staying here again to see how it develops.

Very heavily wooded setting with stream running thru park. Terraced sites with nicely done rock walls at some sites. Lots of shaded sites, all seemed to have tables and were surprising level as roads and sites are dirt...shade is so thick, grass won't grow! Have small pond, play area, some farm animals and well lit paths. This is NOT a resort but a very nice RV/campground in an old fashioned sense with very friendly staff. We look forward to returning.

A lot of improvements are being done to this well maintained but older park. The roads are being repaved from what we were told and electrical upgrades should come this year. Across Pacific Coast Hiway from 'THE BEACH!'. It's basically a well lined out parking lot with patios and tables and a few palm trees. It is spotlessly clean including, pool, laundry, kids play areas, spa and rec room. Coffee and donuts in the AM and a VERY courteous and helpful crew.

This is how a municipal RV park SHOULD be run! Well trained, very courteous staff. Very clean, neat and tidy. We stayed in the older section by the lake for 4 days and there's no wifi but there is a good setup at the store to use. There is wifi in the newer section and we walked up to use it there a couple of times and it also worked well. No cell phone service(not parks fault!) but plenty of pay phones for those that must work. we will definately return!

Spotlessly clean showers and restrooms with all the fine hotel amenities; shampoo, etc. In fact, the entire park would qualify as spotless. Pricey but Dec is prime season. They're upgrading wifi and phone and adding some sites but this won't detract from a very enjoyable stay!

From what managers say, the owner has decided not sell which is great for RVers! This is not a fancy tourist big time RV mega resort. But it's on the beach, nothing between you and the Gulf of Mexico but some other RVers. Nothing is fancy but it's all clean and neat and works! Has a new lighted pier and is pretty centrally located. Very friendly attitude by managers and is continued through to the guests! Looking forward to staying here again next month!

Cannot rate a 10 because of the 2007 report but we found frozen but neatly cut grass, frozen landscaping and the nicest employees of any RV Park we've stayed at. They made sure we were comfortable with plenty of water and did their absolute best to make sure that we enjoyed our stay in their very unseasonable cold weather. We will make it a point to return here for a longer stay(when it's warmer!)The view and location is beautiful, all appeared spotless and employees fantastic!

Camped at the Premium spaces thru the locked gate and up the hill. These are almost group sites, will easily accomadate 2-6 RVs depending on size. 2 very nice ponds and a cow that wanders thru eating the lush green grass. The owners are making improvements and we will definately be back. The lower portion is almost full with a very nice group of temp employees from the surrounding area, not the usual extended you may find.

This appears,by the check-in building, to be an old KOA. It seems to be undergoing renovation and is very clean and neat with only one area at a time being worked on. Easy access to I-5 but the park is very quiet with a couple of neat long term campers. Very shady, level sites, mostly grass and gravel. Restrooms and laundry clean and tidy. We just stayed one night but for anyone that has a reason to be in Orland, this is a very nice park but not a resort yet. We would stay here again and would spend longer next visit!

Being renovated, this is primarily a fishing resort located on Lake Seminole. Has great southern style resturant, fishing supplies, boat ramp and guide service. The campground is rustic but clean and the people that run it are just great! They have kids fishing tournaments so if there is not a Bass tornament going on, this would make nice family place.
